ATLAS AIR, INC. and POLAR AIR CARGO WORLDWIDE, INC.,
Plaintiffs,
v.
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS; INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, AIRLINE DIVISION; and AIRLINE PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS, LOCAL UNION NO. 1224

The pilots ARE the Union and the Union ARE the pilots. You need to learn how a Court Injunction is ordered. A PLAINTIFF, Atlas Air in this case must file a LAW SUIT in a Court of LAW against a DEFENDANT. THATS US.....YOU REALLY DONT GET THAT.? REALLY?

Def:

law.suit. An action or proceeding other than a criminal prosecution brought in a court of law or equity.

Anyone going to southern air is going to be working under that POS bankruptcy CBA and southern colors until at least 2019.

Maybe not even that long.

A letter from the company sent by email & UPS stating that the 1224 Union of which pilots are a member of are being sued in court.

Could UPS be considered certified or registered?

The envelope was in my mailbox indicating that it was delivered by USPS.

That would appear to be serious intent.

Probably cost a total of one Atlas FO's year's salary to send all those letters out.

Well Robin.....I think your tights are cutting of the circulation to your brain which is obviously down in that region. You would have to have your head up your a$$ to come to that conclusion

The email this morning said SOC will be delayed until 2019. I don't foresee a new CBA before that either.

That letter is so full of holes and doubt, I would not draw even that conclusion from it.

The viability of SAI as a working entity any further than mid 2018 is seriously in doubt.

When Dietrich referenced feedback from the union representing our pilots, which one's was he referring to? Atlas & Southern, or just Atlas. I would assume the latter and not the former. That would further drive a wedge between the groups to perpetuate their contract negotiations.

I agree. My guess is that the high $ law firm that the company retained has advised them not to go through with the SOC as it may hurt their amalgamation lawsuit filed against some entity, nothing to do with the pilots
