This flight requires two tech stops for the MD: usually ANC and ICN.

Sorry for more questions and they may have been answered before. Crew changes or is it a double crew and continue on to destination? Stay in HKG or back to ICN, etc.? Always interesting to see how other operations are run. Thx again.

No worries, ask as much as you like. It’s a crew change in every station on this route. WG has no overnights in mainland China or HKG period (HKG was an overnight prior to Covid). ICN is basically like a hub now. All mainland China and HKG flights for the MD are roundtrips out of ICN.

Crew swap at tech stops and absolutely no scheduled overnights in mainland China or HKG. These are being flown as turns out of ICN.

HSV is a regular route. More than one aircraft is there because at least one aircraft appears to be broken there.

Contract (some part of it) at HSV for DSV ends mid-summer supposedly. Can’t see it not being re-bid as the requirement is there, shouldn’t be too competitive as everyone is task saturated, lacking airframes, lacking crews or all the above. Can’t see our group returning in large numbers, but I do miss it.

Overseas domiciles

I see on APC that Western Global allows Bogota and Amsterdam as domiciles, is that correct? Regardless of which type you're flying?

This is correct and you can add Dubai to it.

Training Pay Increase

Training pay at Western Global is now $100 a day plus $100 per diem. So $200 a day, but you have the advantage of $100 of untaxed per die.
