At my place we have a few trips that get catered like that. I flew one a little while ago that we threw out half of it. It was about 7 hrs with 3 legs. The first 2 legs we didn’t have time to eat. Would have been great to get a little more food somewhere in there but not enough time.
On the DHL network, we could use more...maybe just getting to look at a menu would help with hunger a little.

Life at ABX....
Trades denied for made up reasons.
At least once a month somebody gets sick from the little catering we do get.
They are still "working" on getting ice on all the planes.
Grievances growing because they refuse to pay properly or approve trades.
Going on 5 years without a contract and no end in sight no matter what they try and tell you.
Constant threats about your career...be the cheapest or you will never see another airplane!
Does that sound like a great job worth quitting your current job for?

No such animal as a Reserve chief pilot at ABX and article 18.F.3 covers reserve assignments and there are limits depending on where in your available time you might get assigned and you can’t be assigned after being on call for 16 hours as your day is done. Keep throwing trash.

What the story is, the contract is the only thing that outlines a duty day. 121 supplemental for us at least says, “your duty day starts at report time.” This issue has been brought up by a couple pilots that were assigned to a duty period with not proper rest before an assignment. They went to the Chief Pilot and he said the company does not see R2/3 as duty.
R2/3 counts toward a 1:7 though.
You must answer your phone or face a missed trip
You can not drink on R2/3
This isn’t an issue of the contract. Although the company tries to follow the contract and the flow chart, there is nothing FAA regulating about this. The pilots need an LOI determining what is duty.
Combined with R2/3 and a trip, someone recently work like a 22 hour duty day.
