Initially only senior Capts would be able to hold a single pilot line and the pay would have to be top of the pack. By making it the top paying aircraft on the payscale, it keeps the experienced folks on the single pilot aircraft.

Along with the new ipad, all would be issued their own volleyball to remake into our alter self so as to create a sense of control and rationalize our fears and loneliness.

I imagine there would be a live feed "facetime-ish" app so you'd have a flight dispatch "co-pilot" in a Memphis bunker that you could argue about fuel levels with for the entire flight.

Plus a requirement to solve a puzzle every few minutes to verify alertness. Two successive failures will trigger the shock collar.

We would be getting rid of our traditional uniforms since wearing piddle packs would be required.

So... We're still going to have crew-served planes? I'm confused.

See, I know pilots that fly corporate jets solo. But they sure didn't get those jobs with 250 hours and a wet commercial ticket. They flew copilot with somebody first......

I know that you probably think you're kidding ...

Years ago when PanAm got the first 747's the Captains wanted Navy "Admiral" stripes!

What happens when the ILS is inop?

What's the liability if an unmanned 777 crashes in LAX?
