121 side, yes. 135 side is full bore paper, although we do have email.
Cargo lines are run on the Empire side. 2 flights per evening, M-F. Nope. 1. Jepps only, just the Hawaiian subscription 2. there are 5-6 crews per cargo bid and it goes by seniority and there are two lines of flying, one goes to Lihue and the other goes to Hilo. They fly maybe 4-5 trips per month and have multiple reserve windows that they are responsible for, some airport reserve and some short call. 3.yes you can bid cargo or pax flying. cargo goes senior. we have two freighters. one on the way. |
Feeder ops are Mon-Sat. Long days. Usually leave the house at 5am, wait on late planes, watch loading, fly out sit, evening flight back, then home around 8pm. just enough time to eat late dinner and go to bed and do it again. Quick turnover for new hires. Not the place it used to be
135 pay scale top end number was extended out from 10 years to 20 years over time. |
Can anyone speak to life on the Ohana side....

Appreciate the Info Chris. I know it would be difficult, but did anyone commute from the other islands? Such as the BI or Kauai?
And anyone know what ever happened to the rumor of Ohana being brought in house after HA bought out Island Airs cert.? |
