AFW

Was considering applying for AFW Capt. opening. Could anyone give details of AFW operation. I'm a recent early retire from a regional. I live close to AFW have over11K hours.

When you are at the outstation all day, is a day room or crew room provided?

TUL route is 4 days a week at night either 8pm-2:30am or 10pm-3:30am. These aren’t exact times but close.

Absolutely! We have not only a hotel room but also a crew car.

I am. The schedule is about half reserve, a week of travel and a week flying locally from 6am-6pm. There’s some of us that like to travel more and some less. Great QOL but slow on building hours. It’s a salary job though and they pay us well if we do travel.

The Purple Runway has not shown any really good results. It’s a joke.

I’m based in GEG and love it! Great QOL.

Cargo ops is an easy gig. We fly freight in the morning, drive our crew car to the hotel for the day and fly home right around dinner time. Empire takes good care of us.
