The danger of making up your own abbreviations. It might be used for something else far more common.
CVN vs Caravan. Probably worth it to type it out on a flyer.
Aerei da Trasporto Regionale vs ATR. The abbreviation is common and widely understood. Most people the flyer is targeting probably don’t read French or Italian either.

If a CFI wanted to go to Empire as their next career step and utilize the Purple Pathway Program, seems like they would be far better off getting to ATP mins as a CFI and then apply for a FO position on the ATR.
Starting on the 135 side with 1200 hours would then take 2 years to upgrade to the 121 side. Meanwhile, you can go from 1200 hours to 1500 hours in 3-4 months instructing and then start on the 121 side right away.
You don't start building Multi TPIC until you are a caption on the ATR, so getting to the 121 side as fast as possible is the way to go.
Am I figuring this correctly?

ICT ATR Capt
Can anyone shed light what the ATR capt position in ICT would look like? Is this a stable local out and back position or would it follow under one of those “floater” positions as discussed in this thread? Thanks for any input

This is a ICT to AFW run. The "floater" positions are advertised as Homebased.

Rate it? Standard 135 ops, except for exposure to two check rides in two weeks, that’s kind of an outlier in the industry, at least in my experience.
