Dynamic Airways

Yesterday Dynamic Airways asked the DOT for permission to crank up 10 B-767s immediately for charter work. They have acquired the rights to use the name "Eastern Air Lines" from Swift Air. Should be interesting. Will need lots of pilots real fast.

How is a place that pays 36k for FOs to start still is business?

There’s plenty of pilots out there that would do it for a 75/76 type rating

And because they were told that’s all they could get from the company. And they believed it.

I just don’t get it

These airlines keep, somehow, staying in business. Dynamic is the worst company ever with a reputation from hell. It’s operations to South America were legendary. The Eastern certificate was handed back in and Dynamic was all but dead and now this. Why would the DOT approve of such an abhorent idea? Where is the FAA as well? Do they all not know what goes on at that place.

The word has been out for a long time now about these two operations and how bad they truly are. Why and how do they stay in operation.

And with 10 767's? That's not a small operation! Totally crazy. Be interesting to know who customers might be. And I really would hope they get a close look by FAA unless someone puts a lot of $ in to capitalize things and make sure safety story is there.

Just ask the ATI pilots. They’ll probably do it for that much if it includes a Dynamic bag tag and a shiny new paint job.
And homebasing of course. They’ll do anything for homebasing.

Are we sure this is cargo? Wouldn't surprise me to see Dynamic chasing NFL contracts for next season.

This ^^^
When you’re in this industry long enough you loose all respect for DOT/FAA.
Deaf, dumb and blind.
No offense to the deaf, dumb and blind.

True dat about the FAA. Every Florida FSDO has an institutional scam or graft scheme. Designated Pilot Examiners north of Miami and south of Jax come to mind. A few do EXACTLY 2.5 exams per day. Two pass, one fails, the retest the next day counts as a half exam for their quota. Cash payment only...
