So nine months later, how is it flying the line? Some part of me thinks flying a Caravan in PR would be fun. I meet the hour requirements would just need the FR and IPC. If you want to discuss here cool or if you want to PM cool too.

I suppose that would depend. Do you have ten hours of Cessna 152 or 172 time? If so, I think it’s only about three hours of transition training and passing is a slam-dunk. Otherwise you’ll need to do the full course.

Four hours for the transition, now, since they added the "birdcage challenge."

Default Mountain Air Cargo question

I'm looking at the Erie, PA domicile. About how many flight hours can be earned per month? What is a typical daily schedule?

"20" (with enough headwind every night). It's not a place to build time, unless you're not in much of a hurry. (The Erie run is around 35 minutes.) However, I understand all runs are covered right now?

A typical run departs around 1900 on Monday and fly to an outstation where you spend the night at a hotel. You return to your base around 0700 the next morning. Show time at the airplane is usually one hour before scheduled departure. Some end on Friday morning and some on Saturday morning.
