No clue, I have no clue how any HR dept works anymore. Perhaps there was so many applicants that yours was too late to the party?

It helps tremendously to have another pilot at ATI write a referral letter for you. I don't know anyone flying here who didn't have some connection to at least one pilot already here.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I don't know anyone working in ATI. I think I will just keep applying and maybe one day a luck will fall on me.

In your case, having no inside connections, I recommend going to one of the upcoming job fairs. Beyond basic piloting skills you need to be a good fit. Not everyone who works here feels as positive about it as I do. We have to tolerate each other’s company for extended periods of time. HR does a pretty good job of getting pilots who are a good fit for this work. I think by going to a job fair you might be able to convince them in an informal environment that you are what they are looking for. Hope you are able to get on.

Hit up a job fair like FAPA. That’s where I spoke with them and was called shortly after for the interview and I just got off OE a few days ago.

Also just keep applying. I know a guy who got hired without knowing anyone here. He just kept applying until they called him. Basically keep trying. I know that can be disheartening but sometimes that’s what it takes. And have a friend go over your application with you to make sure ATI is getting accurate data when you apply

I have read some of the contract from the comparison website, but still have a few questions:

How are the hotels - Downtown, local food/brews near by?

I know that some DH's require business class - but how often is that a consideration?

Thanks!
