Amerijet’s Last 727 Flight
 

Amerijet flight 99 will shortly depart Laredo for its final resting place in Sebring, FL. This ends an almost 40 year history with the airplane, and the last Miami operator to fly the airplane. The airplane, N395AJ, has been rather busy the last few months moving car parts, so it’s nice to see her go out on top instead of quietly fading away.

End of an era...

I’ve got a lot of time in 395.

I spent a lot of time in the back going to and from MIA in the 90’s on AA. Still my favorite plane, 30 mins faster on the leg :-)
