Washout rate in training?
Attrition from my viewpoint is almost non existant. This is not to say it isn't happening. Apparently with brand new guys, it is much higher than people who have been here for a year or longer? Couple of people fired, couple moving to a pax carrier, maybe another over to Purple or Brown. Retirements will be speeding up a bit, but still not huge numbers.

Washout in training... Speaking to newhires making it out to the line, they report most passing, maybe one person not making it through in the class. It is still a firehose, and almost every case of people not passing, from my class to today, the general theme is that the failing student never studied with his classmates. In some cases, people get stuck on one thing, like programming the box, and they refuse to move forward until they figure it out. You can't do that here.
I also find it interesting that some of our new guys that have come over from another ACMI report our training program to be easier, more forgiving.
Regional guys should expect a heavier workload, faster pace than where they came from.

Hey guys, I’m set up for the March 11 class. I was wondering from the time you complete the check ride to starting familiarization flights/ IOE or even seeing some flying on your line, about how long is it? Do they move us through pretty quickly?

Fam flight within a week or so. They give you a little time off to catch your breath.
IOE currently at 2 months for FO's, but that was with the Christmas rush, also getting some captains their IOE.

Thanks! That’s helpful and as ALWAYS subject to change I know. If I recall correctly, FAM flight triggers the start of flight pay??

Hey K4 pilots, I have my app in with you guys currently. I have 2000 TT, 1320 TPIC (turboprop), 800 TSIC (121). Any chance I'll get a call or are you guys looking for more experience. Honestly cargo is my dream any suggestions or am I reaching with my current resume?

I did my fam flight right away and sat at home getting guarantee pay for 2.5 months. Best work to pay ratio I've ever had. Glad to see you guys coming over.....I think you'll be glad you did.
