I was/am part of the lost generation, got lucky. A few more years and it was caput for me. I was only stating go for it if that is something that interests you. Brown more than some I believe is hardest to figure out because we hire less in gross numbers than the rest, they can afford to be selective (for now), by selective I don’t mean the best/astronauts, simply by their standards. Based on my experience, Delta and AA seem to be the hardest to crack.

AA wants you to come through one of their regionals(B scale), and Delta likes them young.

That was the rumor I heard. However there should be another 747 Captain bid coming out soon and I'm sure some of those slots will come from the 767, leading to a possible backfill requirement (ie another 767 bid down the road.

Doubt it. They are only half way through the 40 upgrades awarded back in October. Also with the loss of the 744's to Atlas and none in sight right now they don't have to.
