Just saw a Swift aircraft in DHL colors....Mesa is supposed to be coming too. Along with Suncountry. I would not be buying new houses because of DHL expansion plans....here today gone tomorrow.

Has anyone at Kalitta Air ever passed up a mainline job/interview? Kalitta is becoming more of a career destination, but with many decades of work left it's hard to think of staying with the majors hiring so much. Thoughts?

The only people who should consider K4 their final stop are Captains over 50. Home basing is great and flying the queen is a privilege but you have a career and retirement to think of. Don’t waste any time trying to get on with legacies FX and UPS.

My approach right now is paying off all my debt and living like I'm an FO on min guarantee. If this place goes away in 10 years the guys that stayed responsible with their money could easily have 500k in cash no debt and a nice 401k.
I guess it's a good problem to have.
