Hey Geezer, can you start your own thread? “Geezer’s Story Time” or something along those lines?

While they are amusing, they are threadjacking and making people’s genuine questions disappear behind pages of your responses. The whole point of this thread is to help people that are interested in applying here and you obviously aren’t into that whole brevity thing.

Sorry, that's not how recommendations are supposed to work.

It seems that for our letter of rec's to hold any water, we have to swear the life of our youngest child and pound everyones desk that our own honor is on the line, and that they must hire you. Sorry bud, no one is going to give you a rec without at least having flown with you and you have your crap together. I'm pretty sure my own rec's don't help anymore as one of my guys didn't make it through the interview. Everyone since has not gotten a call.

I also hate people.

I have friends around the industry as I imagine you do. Depending upon your seniority and equip you can block days ON/OFF. 15 ON/15 OFF is doable at Spirit (and at Jetblue also if you bid reserve). If you have a lot of seniority at a Legacy, you can just drop some flying and still get paid. I have a buddy at DL that's barely worked all summer. The only thing ACMI's really have over any of them is home-basing which is a nice perk. Just sayin'

Does K4 pay for KCM?

Also, is there a way to get a copy of the current contract? Trying to learn the about life flying outside of the military.

Thanks!

Yes.

And yes, if someone is willing to send it to you.
