Every airline gets that sort of person. You try your best in the interview process, but it’s not 100%.

If it's the guy I'm thinking of, he's a tool, and was one at his previous gig as well!

At some point he will try that with the wrong Captain and he will no longer be a problem. That has happened before here on more than one occasion.

It's very unfortunate to hear about this, but it seems that this is always a "self correcting" issue.

Every airline needs a douchebag or two. It provides cover for the rest of us. 😜

The 76 only does domestic flying, so the 74 is used for all the South America runs. No one knows what the 777 will take over yet.

767 lines are usually between 38-52 hours of block. They’re still gone from home just as long as 747 crews. Only way to make over 64 hours is work on days off and even then it’s not really worth your time. The real kick to the nuts with the 767 is the long duty day. Looking at the schedule, one can see that 767 pilots are getting 4-5 hours of flight time in a 13+ hour duty day. 3 legs a day is not uncommon with a 5 hour sit in CVG between legs. Heard that scheduling has even expected 4 legs a day at times. Most 767 guys I speak with say it’s a great plane, good crews, check airman, etc. the number one complaint is the schedule. Which is funny because I know several who left the 74 in hopes of a better schedule on the 76. You’ll probably see guys returning to 747 as soon as the company allows them to bid back over.

767 is planning starting ETOPS certification this spring. This will probably change the operation dramatically
