We get a lot of long layovers at WGN, and it can be boring, but it's usually glorious, though not the same cities you mentioned.

But ACMI pay from 11-13 was pretty bad, so I couldn't imagine being stuck in DXB or HKG for a week on 50k/year and 2 bucks an hour per diem. Entebbe on the other hand, not so bad.

I'm on the outside applying and I know folks who were there on the April and May interview dates.

Are they still going to be hiring ~ steadily the rest of the year with the 777s showing up or are things slowing down a bit? The general trend amongst the K4 B744 guys who post here is that the last 2 years they were making good $ between flying above guarantee and readily available OT but the last six months or so it seems to have dried up.

Does K4 hit any of the job fairs?
I don't think they go to job fairs any more. Only one 777 so far. Rest are rumors.
I would say average for FO's between 64 and 75 hours.

Would anyone care to post a recent 767 line out of CVG? Just to give a preview of what that kind of flying is like? Thanks

That’s what I was thinking while I was typing that. I’m sure there’s better lines, but I’m too lazy to go searching through them just to post on a forum.

I used the ATP prep app,
Compass testing prep app and pilot appitude app. This really helped for the testing.

The lines themselves aren't too bad; easy flying days, one or two legs typically. It's the EKG pattern showtimes that look painful. One example sequence:
8:25
0:15
9:30
8:20
1:15
8:36
12:05
2:28
3:12
3:35
3:35

Much respect to the crews making that happen. If they need more bodies to build schedules that stick to one side of the clock, we've got plenty to spare.

Are you guys overstaffed on the 767 at K4?

How long until it gets ETOPS?
