JM, is in his two week period now I think turned it in today or yesterday. I use to deal with him a lot.

ABX scheduling department is becoming a real amateur hour. They’ll probably cause service failures just due to ineptitude.

So the untrained Scheduler, plus the 4th Quarter D6 days owed should cause real headache for old JH and the Soap. Worse than 2016, so might be the straw that breaks Soapys back.

Some may disagree with that, but certainly those guys could have found aircraft elsewhere if CAM didn't want to lease to them.
NAC has apparently had some problems (FAA? labor? both?) that have resulted in ABX retaining the SAS flying for the last several months. The lack of aircraft movement would seem to be more due to that than to any problems finding enough business.

You're likely right about the rest, though. Those who do not actively follow the aircraft leasing business are probably not aware of the competitors to CAM that could just as easily have provided those aircraft and there may be a perception that cargo-converted 767s are a scarce resource that could be controlled to the benefit of those who have them. ABX has lost flying that probably could have been retained if ABX had another -300. (The story seems to be that a -300 was pulled from Atlanta to provide additional capacity for Panama, and Atlanta was given to somebody else. Those of us who would like to spend less time on reserve would prefer if we could keep all of the flying we already had, especially when the resources to do that are available, if only they weren't being given to our competitors, and it's frustrating that there seems to be no effort on the part of the company to keep that from happening again.) The current situation at ABX, shrinking while others are growing and months passing without a contract, doesn't help. Taxiing past all of those newly-painted CAM-leased -300s in Miami just grinds the gears a little bit.

Both of those explanations make a lot of sense! Thanks!
