does anyone know how many in the pool and if you received a pool letter last week, the approx time it may take to get a class,,,,

I know there is no seniority in the pool, but assuming one has widebody experience and all the other normal qualifications.....

Search the Cargo threads. There is another thread with the info you seek but it really won't help either. It's somewhere between 13 and 60.

That could be the difference between 1 to 5 months.....

There probably is a thread with an informal running total. Time in pool? I've heard a record low of 2 weeks, to never on the low side, I was in for 4+ years.

As a former pooile, I was wide body international(for a few years) at the company I was working for when I was place in the pool and it took me over a year to get in.

Don't put your life on hold for UPS. Something I am about to say is easy to say but very hard to do: Just forget about the pool.

About a week after I adopted that philosophy, I got my call....:eek:
