Default Portable K-Cup Brewer for 767 Freighters?

Right now I carry a thermos in my flight bag, but it’s leaky and I run out of coffee. The instant coffee that’s supplied on our airplanes is pretty awful. Does anyone have any experience with these portable K-cup coffee makers? How do they hold up over a few patterns? I think I can get a nearly unlimited supply of K-cups from hotels which would be a lot nicer than 8hour old coffee that I brewed in my room before heading to work.

Carry Via, or buy an AeroPress.

Or apply at K4. Their airplanes have a full size k-cup coffee machine on board.

I carry a French press/mug by GSI Outdoors that had decent reviews. A bit of my ground coffee and the mug takes up little space and you just need a functional hot pot on board the aircraft.

Aeropress.

Better coffee and less moving parts.

I use something like this. Not this exact one, but something very similar. It packs up small, easy to clean, no moving parts (not sure if collapsing counts? LOL) and makes a great cup of coffee. I have a pint sized Nalgene bottle that I keep the coffee in and carry 30-40 cone filters in a zip lock baggie. They are fairly cheap, so if you leave it on the plane or in your hotel room it isn't a huge loss.

I like the way that silicone drip flattens out. Does it elatically attach to the top of a mug (like a rubber band)? I keep breaking nice stuff in my flight bag. I might actually buy a few of them to pass out as gifts too.

Thanks for the suggestion!
