I had been using Private Internet Access (PIA) for the past two years. I discovered it doesn't work in China. Switched to ExpressVPN and everything works again.

Going once, going twice?
NordVPN didn't work for me in China on Apple products due to lack of options that allow it to work on Android.

This message has reached you through a server in Brazil.
Took a 30 day with NordVPN.
Will see how things work out this rotation.
For one thing Bank of America is not letting me sign in.
Send an email to Nord tech support if there is a specific server I can use.
Main reason for VPN was increased security traveling.

It's possible that BoA will block access attempts from outside the country as an anti-fraud measure. My VoIP provider does that, so I have to switch to a US server if I want to do anything with that account when I'm outside the country. Any server in the US should work for you if that's the case.

Another option is to carry a travel router. Great if you have multiple devices and want an easy way to secure everything. I just ordered this one to replace an older one I had. They have some other benefits as well. The one listed below supports an SD Card if you want to store movies, music, or other content to share across devices. Nice for the iOS world where file sharing is a pain.

Another router to consider is the RAVPower FileHub, Wireless Travel Router AC750. Currently out of stock but it gets good reviews and is also battery powered.

I use NordVPN and have for a couple of years. It is configured into my home router to protect everything at home and then it will be configured into my travel router. I also have the apps to use on my devices.

I've been using PIA VPN for about half a year now and really like it. Works everywhere overseas that I've been, paid I think $65 for a year. Have it on my Android phone, iPad, and laptop.

Netflix has been cracking down on
using a VPN but PIA has several servers that've worked for me, or just turn the VPN off while streaming.

Something to think about is using your home router. Asus RT-66 to 88 series has the ability via using an open source firmware (WRT) to use your existing home router and internet connection. You can cruise your home local network (Netflix, SMB, CIFS, media player, printer and etc) using openvpn, PPTP, IPSEC encryption and on non-standard ports to avoid blocking by countries like China and UAE.

A lot of how to's out there on youtube.

I also used PIA and Witopia vpn's before just using my own home routers vpn. PIA and Witopia are actively pursued by China and UAE for blocking.
