To be fair, I don’t think a single person on here talking about the schedules and QOL on the 73, actually fly the 73. Big bad Boeing driver always responds but he is just a hater of all things (and people) Southern. Paulhood, I don’t fly the 73, but a few guys in my class took the 73 upgrade a while back, all enjoy it, but all live in a base or outstation and spend a lot of time at home. I don’t know any FOs, but if you PM me, I’ll try and send you a bid package and you can check it out for yourself.

For those of you interviewing or with class dates this public announcement was just made. We're getting about $207M in support from the government to protect our payrolls through the Coronavirus recovery. This is from our CEO, so there's definitely some spin. Still, more information is better than less. Here's a link to the statement:

6/8 class on the 747 here. I received my airline ticket to MIA this past Friday. Still no hotel info or class details yet other than the CBTs sent a few weeks ago. I did have to speak with someone about a mistake on the airline ticket and was told the hotel info would come late this week from a different department.

In the case of training I would use business days only in this calendar math.
I have found that keeping things in that 24 hour window is the lowest stress path at Atlas.
Welcome aboard. Contrary to what you see here on APC this place works out well for a lot of pilots. It is certainly interesting at times, especially on the 74.

Like every other fleet, there is a mix of split lines, 17 days, lines with more time off, lines with higher CRT and TAFB, lines with more time at home and less CRT. Kind of a mixed bag, but I don’t fly it. I certainly would if I just got furloughed or if my company shut down.

Reserve here is different than other places, and hosting a line is no guarantee that you will actually go where you think.
Search around this thread and others and must of the details you are looking for are available. God luck.

Elevation hit the nail on the head. Schedules vary greatly fleet to fleet. On the 747 there is no such thing as a typical schedule. 767 tends to avoid schedule changes (unless you’re JFK based, but that won’t be on your radar for years). I personally can’t speak for the 737 or 777.
The 767 has more split lines than the 747. In both cases expect split lines to go senior. As far as the 767 goes split lines don’t reflect a typical regional or big 3 schedule. You’re still gonna do a chunk of time on the road. Usually it’s split something like 10 on take a break, then do the other 7ish days (this is a large generalization).
Reserve at Atlas is a different animal. On the 767 CA side reserve usually goes senior to very senior. 76 FOs tend to be able to hold reserve at most seniority levels. The preferred time slots with less probability of getting called out will go senior. I cannot speak for reserve on any other fleet.
Again to echo Elevation there is little predictability in which fleet you will get assigned. Based on recent staffing it seems they try to put lower time pilots on the 737, but if it’s well staffed and they need folks on another fleet, then you’re going where the need is.
Cliff Notes:
1. There is no typical schedule at Atlas.
2. Expect 17 day trips as a junior pilot.
3. Reserve largely goes senior.
4. No way to say with assurance which fleet you will get assigned.
Cheers,
