Recent interview group told July/Aug.

Group interview for all aircraft. Let the know in the phone screen your preference. So it shouldn’t matter. But it certainly wouldn’t the first time a group of applicants they were being interviewed for Atlas 747 and then turn around and only offer the Southern 737. It’s happened numerous times before.

Typically no, but it wouldn't hurt to apply to both. There are a lot of changes happening behind the scenes, so it's not inconceivable to think some good applicants might get lost in the shuffle.

Yes, that is the difference between our “gateway” travel and a more normal “home” basing system. As pointed out above, it’s voluntary but we have no commuter clause. It is nice to know you have a regular ticket to the airplane but the trade off is the company wants you to get there with time to get required rest before your trip. So if your trip starts mid afternoon you’ll probably be leaving your home 24 hours prior. No per diem, no rig but the company will cover your hotel prior to the trip. And that leads back to the imputed income discussion.

You would be well served to stop posting on APC now that you have been hired. Both Atlas and Southern have Flag, Domestic, and Supplemental OpSpecs. If you don’t know the difference use Google.

Default Atlas / Southern

It’s not completely the Wild West over here . Just kind of . We have the flight ops departments a 121 airline with our OpSpecs needs to have. Operational control still applies. The old 135 guy in me still wants to file my own flight plan every now and then though. Haha
