Holy ****ts! Nice job whoever did this

Great videos. Great marketing.

IBT went on a marketing campaign indicating that ABX was so mis-managed that "your Amazon package might not be delivered in time for Christmas".

Since then the customer has reacted by reducing the amount of flying ABX gets (because they're so mis-managed?).

And management reacted by moving flying to a second carrier, and buying a third carrier.

IBT is great at marketing and getting pilots riled up. Also great at pi$$ing in their own cheerios.

IBT should get an aircraft carrier with the banner MISSION ACCOMPLISHED on it.

Sorry Bubba, gotta disagree with you on this. Looks like a generic negotiations cartoon with a voiceover to get attention. What’s with the flight attendants in the video? That ain’t us. Nobody outside of APC junkies will pay any attention to this attempt at swaying opinions, despite the fact that it is mostly accurate. Nice try.

Attacking a company as poorly managed when it just landed a gigantic contract with one of the largest companies in the world is questionable at best. ATSG is so poorly managed that Amazon came back for seconds? And wants to maybe own 40%? Yet ABX and the teamsters still think telling everyone how ****ty the entire operation is will be effective. It's clearly falling on deaf ears and ABX is letting the opportunity of a lifetime slip by due to a toxic mix of arrogance and hardheadedness. The Amazon deal is going to come online at about 5 planes per year, ATI can handle that just fine. ABX is just extra weight -We can stand around and watch and sneer at how stupid everyone is, I guess. I hope something else is happening behind the scenes that none of us know about, because there's nothing I would like more than to look stupid a year from now for getting frustrated with the process.

1224 missed the 4th quarter window of vulnerability. Hate to say it guys but you let Hete and Soapy beat you. No advantage 1224. I wish you guys the best in the future, as long as that may be!
My dog just left the fight!

4th quarter wasn't even busy, we lost too much flying and had reserves sitting around

motorclutch 12-22-2018 07:25 PM

Soap scum gave it away. Not to mention our ****ty maintenance.

I have to agree, although the customer did not move the flying between companies. ATSG simply moved aircraft to ATI that were to have gone to ABX, in direct response to the strike, according to the CEO.

The underwhelming, nay, non-existent response to the "Can Amazon Deliver?" campaign (18,921 views since the May 2018 publish date of the video on YouTube, but I thought it was earlier than that) should have been an indication that this strategy is useless because nobody outside of 1224 sees it or cares.

They used the same one for Atlas with a slightly different script.
