For those interested, go to Airtransport.cc, scroll to the bottom of page, under “Careers” click on “Job Portal”, and fill out the online app.

Hope this helps,

Poor turnout on the last window?

No, we have been filling classes to the capacity we can. We keep hiring so we can keep filling classes. So far that has been pretty much on point for us. We run a new class about every 3 weeks. As far as I’ve heard we will likely keep doing so through the remainder of the year.

That all said for the benefit of anyone potentially wanting to come to ATI. Riverside knows this, but wants to come on this thread to make fun or troll. Whatever drives this individual is beyond me, but a quick check through other cargo threads shows a similar attitude.

The reason we open and close the window so frequently is to avoid people applying then their app gets stale and/or they get hired elsewhere. Keeps the the deadwood out of the pool and and keeps the pool fresh for the next class ( we have classes every three weeks)
Our sweet spot is 12 per class (due to SIM and IOE availability) and we’ve been hitting it every class.

So in other words, everyone needs to re-submit every time the window opens?

If you think you have ticked off more boxes / hours etc to improve selection I'd imagine yes.

But ATI really does open and close more frequently than other places so are you really progressing that quickly? One reasons to stick the app in again you might get lucky with a thin pool. ABX and others is another option if you are struggling and want to get into cargo, some of the others have pretty light initial standards though you may need get through some training.

dynap has the right of it but I think it’s more or less a function of a HR thing. They understand that applicants have their stuff into multiple places. They keep the pool thin so as to not waste time/effort on stale apps who have most likely got on somewhere else me thinks.

My theory, not written in stone.

Good luck to all wherever you’re trying!!

Actually it was a question. If you're filling classes, then why not leave the window open? Just have the applicant update their resume online.

See FlyAstarJets response right above yours. I think he is hitting the nail on the head. Are you interested in applying? Or have friends interested?
