Good watch. It does seem to lead one to the conclusion Amazon will be the 800lb gorilla in the next decade. Drawing conclusions from their business model and anti union tactics; pilots are a line item they will attack (whipsaw) or attempt to remove through AI as soon as feasible. Not to say FedEx or UPS won't follow suit, but it doesn't seem to bode well for cargo pilots as a whole if you follow the rising/sinking tide philosophy.

I had never looked into the details but I was surprised that Amazon is less than 2% of FedEx’s business. I still think AI is a bigger threat to future cargo ops for pilots than Amazon but time will tell.
