If you start with the expectation of no meaningful CBA progress in the near future (despite what the VP of Ops tries to sell) you will not be disappointed.

Pilots can literally come to Endeavor, fly regional jets and make nearly double that with very little effort as FOs. Hope you guys get your pay scheme settled up soon.

Negotiations have been going on for more than 3 and a half years. In that time there's a tentative agreement for about half the sections of the contract, only one of which has any financial impact. The company is in such a hurry to get a new contract they are willing to negotiate 4 days a month.

New info.

3 days in August and ZERO days for the rest of the year.

Company believes ruling will be out late August / early September- from then on they are tossing it over to an mediator to handle the rest of the contract.

I would say best case - a contract in 2 years that is decided by a 3rd party.

New hire on the 777 starting October 28. Currently at a regional and my choice was upgrade at my regional (SkyWest) or come to Southern Air. I have 3500TT and am actually really excited to start. Can anyone working here (not previously employed pilots) comment on current conditions, where the 777 goes, schedule and anything I should know. I would love to hear positive things but also not naive to the reality of the situation.

Do you already have 1000 TPIC? If not, then my advice would be to stay and upgrade at the regional, get the 1000 TPIC, THEN, if you still haven't been hired at a decent, well-paying legacy carrier, maybe go to an ACMI for a little "resume polish". If you go to Southern now, you might be in for a long wait to upgrade

You tell people not to come to Mesa. Then people tell you not to come to Southern. But yet here you are.

Not trying to be a Richard, but didn’t you discover all of this in your research prior to joining the company? Giving up the upgrade at your current company is generally not recommended if you do not already have 1000 TPIC.
