Honestly I was just refering to the statement that we are barley paid and treated like crap - neither is true at k4 - doesnt matter what fleet you are on

As you stated those of us on the 747 break our 64 hr guarantee usually each month - myself 95 hrs in both January and February, and most 767 guys get paid 64 - when we get ETOPS that my very well change - our guys on the 76 are there by choice or were hired in as an FO - all could be flying the 74 if they wanted to.

in December of this year we will enter the final year of our current contract
a 12 year 767 Captain will make $218,000 at guarantee (does not include per diem) - that may not be fedex or ups - but what its not is being barley paid

I know of four 767 Captains who are bidding back to 747 as soon as their seat lock is up. They all have it in their standing bid to leave. The company probably looks at stuff like that before they put out these vacancy bids.

It doesn't apply to all acmi - certainly not k4

Why do people keep stating/implying Per Diem is income? IT IS NOT! It is simply money to eat and to enjoy, have fun with.

Isn't that what income is for? I use perdiem for my expenses on the road, and what is left over I keep for my toy fund. It's money on a paycheck, it IS income.

and exactly how did I do that?
I put the qualifier in there so I wouldn't get any crap from the usual suspects about our sh*tty contract that we never should have signed

I am in full agreement - per diem IS NOT income
so don't be a slam clickin cheap $ss on the road

Smile Kalitta interview

Off the subject, I have read a lot of posts and decided that its time to leave the sandbox and come back home and Kalitta seems to be the best option.
I want to thank everyone for expressing their opinions, whether for or against.
Not all jobs fit everyone and everyone can be happy all the time, so we do the best we can.
So, here goes my request.
If anybody can share interview experiences recently and any info that you consider important for me to know for interview prep.
Thanks again to all guys
