I’ve actually been surprised by how many have engineering degrees. I see it all the time.

Most? That's a major stretch. A few, sure, but most? No. But the few that do all seem to be on this thread.

Maybe you should learn about how radar gets airspeed before you start posting stupid crap like this. Radar indicated speed=/=indicated speed. So your whole idea of them going 700kts to get into Mach tuck while radar only shows them between 240-300 is very hard to believe. Even if their pitot tubes were iced

Some pilots have.....

Most Pilots have a degree which has nothing to do with aviation. Emery Riddle graduates have a degree which is basically the same subject matter an 18 year old can get with a commercial license.

I’ve probably spent too many hours on Delta jumpseats. I usually feel like an ignorant mouth breather afterwards. 😃

NTSB has had the flight recorder for a while now, they should be able to tell if the pilots were fighting the stabilizer with the elevators or vise versa.
If they have something they need to act on it in case this was caused by lack of maintenance that might affect the rest of the Atlas 767s.

I'm confident that if they had anything suspicious at this point that would be relevant to other operators they would have shared. They either don't know enough yet or it's something non-mechanical.
