It’s a discussion place with varying levels of experience, knowledge and maturity.
Love to know more. I fly the 767 300. And I fly it in and around some pretty big T storms in central and S America.

not sure if this was said but blocked pitot tube(s) (could be birds, etc) would cause airspeed to decrease when level which could lead to power going to max, that could cause that 4 deg pitching up ie climb, if they countered it by pitching down (descending) it would cause the indicated airspeed to start decreasing, the more they descended the more it decreased causing the power to stay at max even though the true airspeed/ground speed was increasing. Also no stall was indicated but I believe that this is pure AOA not indicated airspeed. if this happened on the both sides or the flying pilot side together with a lack of situational awareness/interpretation might explain this and the statement about “Crew communications consistent with a loss control of the aircraft began approximately 18 seconds prior to the end of the recording.”
I am awaiting the NTSB report and I am not going to throw the crew under the bus.

GA/GA =Flaps out of up or GS Cap
If you think your recovering from a stall it’s thrust forward and lower the nose. Misinterpretation or not. Regardless of if GA/GA is available or active. Boards out diving for altitude and trying to maintain a speed. Flaps easily could be 1 or 5.

This is how rumors start and is exactly why people shouldn't speculate.
A public docket is a brief written summary of a document which is what the NTSB provides for every one of their reports. While frequently associated with court proceedings, that is not the case here.
When you just grab a word and run willy nilly with it adding words like "court" and "trial" other well meaning but equally unqualified posters will echo your errors and next thing you know, it'll be on the friggin' news when there was never anything close to court proceedings going on.
... sheesh ...

Ive heard the same thing and people are not going to like it.
IMO: They already know what happened and could say with 95% assurity the details. The lack of information is because billions of dollars on many sides are relying on an accurate account. Lawyers run this country. One slip up and the wrong corporation is getting sued. Plus the NTSB loves having the authority.

Except with under-wing mounted engines if you go to max thrust you’re making it harder to break the stall.....you’ve gotta unload the wing first by getting the nose down (perhaps even reducing thrust to aid in getting the nose down)....once you get the nose down then you can add thrust.

Just wow!
Too many "experts" on here IMO.
Respect is not even in your vocabulary.
To turn this thread into a *****ing contest blows my mind!
They (NTSB) WILL find out what happened, I'm sure. Or what's the point...
Keep your "expert" opinions to yourself until they find some facts.
Then we can start a NEW thread so y'all can tell them how wrong they were in their findings. And how "RIGHT" you were, with zero knowledge about what ACTUALLY took place.
Just asking for a little respect for their families...

No kidding. I understand curiosity is a part of human nature but I think a lot of us are forgetting that this crew hasn’t even been laid to rest yet and the speculation and theorizing has run completely off the tracks. I hope the families get the closure they need as soon as possible. Until some more substantive facts come out, let’s leave the napkin math off the table. A 763 going supersonic at 7,000 was actually debated on here. Good grief

Spacial Disorientation, followed by an aburt flight control input, thus exaggerated spacial disorientation, panic, locked on controls, VMC, pulling up, not enough time.
