So I go to check my email and I have an email from [email protected] in the inbox. Unfortunately it was not for the assesment it was from tech support on a different issue.

It did get my wondering though if anyone who put in their application since the new window opened has recieved THE email?

Caddis, i am also checking my e-mail regularly and haven't received anything yet. Looks like it may take a while or maybe even after the window closes! Hey, at least you know that they know about you, which is more than what i got. So hopefully we will all hear something soon.

No e-mail here either. Lots of international/PIC/heavy time.

active vs on file
 

Are you guys "active" or "on file"? I'm still guessing that "active" from the get-go is still a good thing.

I have always been "on file" ever since Jan '07--don't know why since I have all the boxes and more than enough time (mostly heavy int'l). :confused:

Same here. Meet all their requirements, heavy/intl experience, yet mine went to on file in Jan 07 and I could never update it.

I am currently active but nothing as of yet. I have all the boxes checked. Turtle how much time do you have? From what I have been told there is a sliding 8 point scale that is based on a bunch of things, #hours, #PIC, Type of hours (heavy/military), internal recs, and the phase of the moon. It is part straight forward and part computer magic.

Turtle, are you an AFRES guy in the C-17?

Yep, C-17 reserves. I've got 6500 TT, 4500 PIC, all in multiengine transports, and majority of it in heavies (C-17, C-141, A-300 SIC at AA). Was also an FE on the 727 at AA. Several internal recs. So all the boxes filled, but one point I'm worried about--I interviewed and was not selected back in Sep 06. They say that's not a blackball, but I'm not so sure...we'll see.

I too have been "on file" since Jan 07. I have all the boxes checked, heavy international time and typed in the MD-11, also three internal recs. Not sure what gives, very fustrating.

I also show as "active" both on my 06 and 07 apps.
8000+ total, 3900+ turb. pic, heavy/int'l. Been flying 121 since 98 on t.prop., ERJ and 747. Let's keep our fingers crossed! :o Good luck to all.

"Active" here as well, for both the '06 and recent (2 week old) '07 App. Anyone know when the compooter will spit out some names for calls? I haven't gotten the "please take our psych eval" email yet though.
