Alpine Air flies BE 99s and 1900s. For a 135 outfit the pay is pretty good. Bases in BIL, FSD, DEN, and SLC for UPS feeder contract and a few USPS runs in BIL. It’s a good operation and they seem to be expanding.

Hmm, that is true. Atlas is a toxic place apparently at the moment, but still light years ahead of most 135's.

Because you can't get hired there at 1500 hours.

500h turbine and 1000h multi, if that makes any difference.

Thanks!
Just to be a stick in the mud, those hours don’t make any sense.
You should have at least 250hrs SE piston which means you’ve overstated either your turbine or ME time.

As in freightworld you have the little dogs and the big dogs.
Go to the Regionals for a year or two then start applying at the big dogs.
You need multi crew experience and big airport experience at this point.

Those hours do make sense. Dude has 1000 hours of multiengine time, which means the other 500 is probably airplane single engine land, maybe other stuff. 500 of the 1500 is turbine - could be single engine, could be multiengine, doesn't matter.

500 SE, 1000 ME. The last 500 where ME/turbine. I haven't overstated a bit. It's more like 540ish 950ish and 520ish

Advertising, yes. Calling, no.
United says 1000hrs. You think you can get in with 1000? No.

3 types of pilots, those who can do math and those who can’t.

Also,
I think the empire ATR is 121?

I was in an atlas 74 last month. The FO was on OE, he was younger than 25 and had fewer than 2000tt. He also didn’t speak English especially well or land especially well. Cheers to the instructor and thanks for the lift. Tough gig being an instructor there me thinks.
