Question

Any details on what is in their TA? I had heard of a 10.5% raise...anything gained for the pilots...other than their jobs. I understand that their quality of life wasn't bad...just low pay for a 747 driver job. Thoughts? Opinions?

all the fired probationary employes are back, no changeto the contract, 10.5% pay inrease, 5% contribution to the 401k%, 4% bonus pay on top on the 10.5%
next year.
not bad,not good, but we did not left anyone behind and did not cave in into management desires of destroying our quality of life.

Question

I had heard that the bonus or signing pay was something like $11k...now they are offering something like $1k. Is that true? Glad to hear that it's all done. I was suprised that it passed with such a high margin. I would have thought maybe 51%...

no that is not true, the signing bonus is small, and so is the pay raise. remember , however, that the courts screw us big time ( to us and all unions everwhere) and the support we believed we were going to have from the Atlas MEC and their crewmember was not as good as orginally expected.
that said,a lot of atlas crews did support us, and a lot of UPS and FDX too.

thank you to all. pls put the bar as high as possible, we will be supporting you on your fight.

lastly, the offer we walk out of on the 16 was worse than what we got, and it definitely was about time to stand up to the kind of management that plagues our industry.

every pilot polar is happy that we walk out and we will be ready to do it again in 18 months.
