Default Centurion/Sky Lease

Is Centurion, Sky Lease or what ever they call themselves officially Tango Uniform? In MIA and no activity over there. MD-11 doors open and 747 on ramp. Who’s going after that ramp space?

Too bad for them that Atlas isn't about to enter Section 6...

I'm also getting feedback that is the case at Atlas. So much for leadership promises. We won't really know until the arbiter makes his ruling though. Probably back to where we started over three years ago + a few TA's.

I'm sure Centurion/Skylease will resurface under a new label again.

N950AR and N986AR are the only flying MD11s left they just scrapped N987AR I think there is one 747 left. I have no idea how they have made it this long it seems like each time one of their planes comes up for a heavy check they just scrap it.

I guess they are still running. One of the MD’s just taxied out and is departing as I write this.

Each of their 4 aircraft flies pretty much daily. The 2 MD11s fly to South America. When they wrecked one 747, they reactivated another. So they now have 903AR and 904AR flying. 904AR flies a contract route back and forth to CSX in China. 903AR flies primarily to South America. Some of those routes are a couple of hours each way; others are 7 or more hours each way.

Well...Skylease, anyway.

When the company owes pilots 70 grand, it's a wonder it can keep anyone around; only by offering quick upgrades, some of which are cut short because the company won't pay for the simulator. When the owner can't get out of his car at his office for fear of the pilots, and when the unpaid fuel bills pile up, along with maintenance, and when more leave than come to work, toxicity is a sliding scale. It's a bit like observing the titanic slowly sink, a few brave souls clinging to the bow as it hovers above the waves, the latest quick upgrade's arms spread wide as he shouts "I'm the king of the world" and then begins to tread water in hopes that someday he'll get a portion of the backwages owed him before he finally goes under. More like crab grass as a spectator sport, or watching cancer.

I think the short answer to the original question.....no...Centurion, Skylease or whatever they call themselves...is not
officially tango uniform.

Somewhat in the same way that the goldfish, while floating inverted with one glazed eye drying under the fluorescent lamp isn't quite dead yet, but isn't long for the flush cycle on the well used American Standard in the loo.
