ATI and pay problem, class action worthy?

Im at my breaking point. We have one person that does our payroll and we are constantly being shorted pay. Sometimes this amount is well north of 1500+ !

The company knows this is an issue and has been for years. If you fight it through the union it takes forever and eventually you might get paid. You argue this directly as one of our “ex” captains did you get targeted.

Since this seems to be intentional does anyone know if you can file a class action suit outside the union? Its the only way to resolve it and hopefully recover damages.

This is not an isolated event, its system wide check airman to new FO.

Haha, good to know its standard ATSG practice

If the union cannot or will not resolve and issue which violates labor laws, you can always seek a separate course of action. In this situation you can present your evidence to a labor lawyer and they can give you your options.

You can also file a complaint with the state labor board/agency.

Your money is best spent hiring an attorney to sue the union for duty of fair representation. Hire a lawyer have him file suit against alpa....you will get paid by alpa or management for sure!

Sounds like you are dealing with the same incompetent lady who created the same havoc at ABX for years. We got her fired and your management team hired her. Good luck. It won’t change until management fires her again. My deepest sympathy.

"In the first 10 months of 2018, SWAPA Contract Admin recovered nearly $800,000 from pay audits and error pay for our Pilots and their families. This boosted the grand total of recovered monies since 2015 to over $3.6 million."

File a DOL non-payment of wages complaint and let the feds do it for you. Better yet, get a bunch to file. Most states have laws against it as well.

Wow, is this ABX and ATI folks bonding over a common goal? I never thought I would see the day.
