My opinion is that any pilot job is only as secure as your medical. Don't matter if you fly for Key Lime Air, or Delta, you, you better have additional sources of income that can sustain you.

Our LTD is pretty good plus ALPA Loss of License PLUS is good security until you have a solid nest egg. It’s pricey above 45 years old, but worth it.

I'm working on short term rental income, will have two cottages ready by June. Many more to follow. That sort of income doesn't stop at age 65.
