Wow... You actually get to fly as much as you want to. Sounds like a great deal.

If- you all get those birds, it’s not like RJ flying. Those planes will only fly 1-3 legs a day max. There won’t be any need for premium pay, plenty of Mesa guys will falling all over themselves to fly the jet.

That flying will be the easiest flying to staff, Mesa has ever had.

Awe yes grasshopper. I too was like you. Then I realized I can actually make 100+ hours of credit without even touching the jet.

What? Mesa is getting 737’s? I fondly remember sitting at a JFK crashpad, listening to guys in their 20’s(same as me) brag that they were getting our flying(Comair). Outstanding group of aviators. I also fondly remember getting pushbacked on a DH in a Freedom(Mesa) CRJ-900, to then have the plane jacked up with pax onboard while they changed a tire. Good on time performance though! Outstanding group of management.

This is the dumbest thing I've heard all week.

No way Mesa can compete with Southern's pay rates. Mesa pilots are way too expensive.

Well, for once, Mesa won't be the lowest paid in the sector. When are you getting some of Atlas's 767's?

Besides here I haven't seen any proof of the Mesa rumor anywhere.

The -800’s are Etops for future Hawaii flying. I don’t see Mesa getting an Etops program anytime soon. Of course anything is possible - given the cost, the training and up keep of such program, it goes against what Mesa is about
