If- you all get those birds, it’s not like RJ flying. Those planes will only fly 1-3 legs a day max. There won’t be any need for premium pay, plenty of Mesa guys will falling all over themselves to fly the jet.

What? Mesa is getting 737’s? I fondly remember sitting at a JFK crashpad, listening to guys in their 20’s(same as me) brag that they were getting our flying(Comair). Outstanding group of aviators. I also fondly remember getting pushbacked on a DH in a Freedom(Mesa) CRJ-900, to then have the plane jacked up with pax onboard while they changed a tire. Good on time performance though! Outstanding group of management.

The -800’s are Etops for future Hawaii flying. I don’t see Mesa getting an Etops program anytime soon. Of course anything is possible - given the cost, the training and up keep of such program, it goes against what Mesa is about
