Default K2 vote

Kalitta 2 pilots once again have the opportunity to demonstrate unity in opposing management’s efforts in destroying a pilots ability to collectively bargain. Management’s recent letter implies that they will be able to deal directly with you as an individual. This is absurd and should only serve to demonstrate how little they respect the process. Management’s delay tactics in negotiating a contract, as provided for under federal law, is the number 1 indication of the disrespect they have for you and your choice of union representation.
Despite constant uphill battles Teamster’s Local 1224 has successfully negotiated contracts which recently include Allegiant, Kalitta Air, Omni and Miami Air.
Currently the pilots of Teamster’s Local 1224 are supporting and funding your efforts to conclude a collective bargaining agreement for K2 pilots. We stand with you. Vote Teamsters and tell management you stand with your fellow pilots.

So boilerplate. I should have been a union busting attorney. Easiest job in America. Ignore these people.

The K4 contract got signed because Teamsters were removed from final negotiations. There's a reason they were voted out.

Looks like a sign of desperation to come on APC and beg for support. Sounds like a majority of K2 pilots made up their minds to be rid of 1224 after all didnt it take 51percent or more support to petition the NMB to force a vote?? Where there is smoke there is obvious mistrust.

Bye bye Teamsters 1224...don't let the door hit you on the way out. More than 5 years and not ONE SINGLE TA.

Will you have union representation of any kind now?

I thought Kalitta was ALPA - they've got a contract coming up in Dec 2020 I think for renewal?

For K2 - when was / is your contract end date?

The plan I was told is that either in-house, TWU or ALPA. Hell, I'll take the Pipefitters union over the clowns we have running the Teamsters local1224. These guys couldn't negotiate their way out of a wet paper bag. It took them 5 years to make a serious attempt to contact the 737 pilot group which is the majority of the pilots! I mean really!?

Sounds like you've fallen for management propaganda. They'll probably even convince you to go the in-house union route. Enjoy your sub-par contract for life!
