Alright....

The 767- Say it with me, Domestic. All nighters at the CVG hub sitting r3 - Downton at the Westin. Flying the -200 to GSO or the -300 to Stockton.

International flying- you will get some of the slop every now and then.

62 hours of pay. No OT ( you’re too junior to get any )

The 777 - FUHCKTEGING. 17 - 20 day patterns. At least 3 trips around the world. Min rest 24/7. That what you get. Pay will be a bit more, but you will need it for your divorce attorneys ( so it’s a wash )

But hey- you next to the 777 is great for tinder pics / bumble. Unfortunately you will be too tired. If you get a good picture next to the 767- that works well for tinder, however the girls in RFD aren’t to picky.

Hmmm- I’d try PSA, and flow to AA.

No contract anytime soon. We just negotiated last month and couldn’t agree on DH language after 3 years.

Amazon has no intention on paying us more- just look at the warehouse employees.

But- if you don’t believe me. Come on over- see you around the hub @ 2am with the rest of the waking dead cast.

Since getting on the full Atlas CBA (starting in June) life at Southern has become a living hell. Whatever adversity we faced at SAI prior to Atlas, pales in comparison to the debacle that is life under the thumb of Atlas.

Don't count on anything over guarantee. There are more DH's flights being put on people's lines than operating legs. With a credit of 1/3 of what the block time is, this is worse than Southern's original 1/2. Say that you are in LAX and they need you to operate a flight out of HKG, they will DH you all the way through to HKG on company aircraft with min rest, or no rest on the stops. So, that means you will be DH 3/4's around the world for one flight, of which the work credit will not raise you off the guarantee floor. I have TWO of these events on my line and I have talked to 3-4 other people that have similar. Oh, and it is happening to junior and senior people.

The only people that are making money here are in the training department.

This is only part of it. There are a lot more details, (scary operational one's) that are even worse.

In my humble opinion:

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SH*THOLE!

Why even join these companies. I thought cargo was going all single pilot in the near future? Just imagine the furloughs that will happen... no such thing as pilot shortage

Oh...so NOW it’s obvious and two days ago it wasn’t. Gotcha.

As I said, I am swimming in the UPS pool and have a back up with PSA.. why AA or DAL haven’t called is a
Mystery to me and my colleagues who fly for both in my reserve squadron.
I have had app reviews from professional companies.
PM me if you feel the need.

Hey congrats getting into the UPS pool. That’s not an easy road! How long have you been in the pool?
Since UPS will eventually call you for ground school, I would suggest staying with the 767 on the Atlas side. Get the PIC type, and maybe some experience before heading off to UPS. Since you might get the 767/757 at UPS, it would be good to already be typed. The 767 school house at Atlas is pretty good too.
Going to the 777 at Southern really doesn’t make sense. (Maybe if you were eventually headed off to FedEx)
As mentioned before, the Southern side of the house is a dumpster fire.

Personally, I’d go to PSA. Atlas training is NOT AQP, and their bust rate is high. The last thing you need to do while waiting for a class at UPS is pink slip a check ride at Atlas. PSA will pass you, and worst case scenario, you might be stuck there for a few years until you either a) flow to AA or b) get picked up by a Legacy.

Thanks for the info... I’ve been in the pool 2 months now... so hopefully not too much longer... fingers crossed before I class up with Atlas/PSA
