I think the pay is probably equal or better than you’ll get at Southern. And according to the APC profile, the schedule is a little better too.

Post your same message in regards to K2. I mention them because you said you wanted 737 and money wasn’t important. QOL in the Kalitta organization is usually pretty good. I don’t know much about them.

To clarify, money is important, but not as much short term if the longer forecast is better.

Bus,

On the 16th of this month you posted this on another thread:

Then you start this thread on the 20th, making like your thinking of going to Southern.

So please just tell us what is your intention here? Requesting PM's so that you can possibly get names?

Bus320 has all of 14 posts yet you say in one of your posts that you have been in this industry for far too long to not understand things. Obviously you have not expressed anything on this forum during that time which I find hard to believe.

This is all just so suspect.

I am just calling it as I see it.

Sorry if it came across that way. I’m not trying to get names, not into all the politics I just wanted to know what the real scoop is. The people at southern have been extremely nice to me, from recruiters to pilots. There is a reality that this is a challenging time in the industry and all the info is not always conveyed to people before sign on. I understand this industry is fluid and most don’t know, but it’s my due diligence to ask. Do know how many times I heard things are great, you will upgrade in 6 months, and so on. I thank everyone for their opinions and most have been helpful. My pm box is always open for off the record discussion.

I was told 6-8 but for sure less then a year on 737 and from the non pilot recruiters very quickly

Then then from a pilot side here, upgrade not gonna happen, once merger goes through I’m gonna be Right seat for years. I don’t have an issue with that as long as they pay is great, but I don’t believe fed ex Fo pay will ever find its way an ACMI carrier

In the Mob, the guy who shoots you in the back of the head is your good trusted buddy, who is always very friendly and nice right up to the moment that he blows your brains out. Your betrayer comes to you with a smile. Just sayin'.

That stripper who ends up coming back to your motel and has smeared rohypnol on her nipples so she can take your wallet and watch is also usually very, very nice.

Of course, I would know nothing about such things...

My one friend at Southern on the 777 described his schedule as "grueling".
