Don’t let current ABX management find out about the issues with Franks widow and the crap show she had to endure. Otherwise they would be knocking on the courthouse doors to do the same. JH is known for his lack of compassion.

Surely their lawyers have caught scent of it. Best to point out how badly Atlas lost the case. Just glad the widow O'Donnell had the resources to fight the bastards in court.

I am so relieved by Dogo's post. I hadn't seen a thread-hijacking anti-ABX post in at least a couple of weeks, and I was getting concerned.

Every company has acrimony with its employees from time to time. Every company has employees who try to discourage prospective joiners. Not every company brings their legal department to bear against a widow whose husband died on company duty on the far side of the planet in the hopes of looting his death benefits and 401(k) contributions, and tries to stick said widow with their lawyers' bill in the same breath.

The judges ruling on the case clearly thought that was well beyond the pale; it's a shame more pilots don't agree.
I could not agree more. For all the noise thrown around about working at Atlas, I never understood why the events following Frank's death are ignored. And I never understood why management has not been called upon to explain itself.

Work at Atlas? Have "lawyer up" near the top of the list of things for your spouse to do if you die at work. Literally. Because the record shows that management will unleash the legal pit bulls once the dust settles and the flowery words fade.

Dogo doesn’t know any better. He’s a resentful, angry individual. Don’t let him get to you.

That's the worst I've heard. The 2nd worst is that after AS261 crashed, the Company refused to give the survivors non-rev passes to the SEA memorial service because their dead spouses "weren't current employees."

Fortunately, SWA gave them positive space passes.

Truth.

The families of all on board have great cases against AAWH. All of these cases will settle out of court with the usual "no admission" clause. The company will miraculously have unlimited funds to make this go away in a similar fashion to the price fixing "make it go away" payment. No money for a contract or to make this a viable airline though. Otherwise the fab five and the Northwest pensioners will spend all of their golden clad retirement years in depositions and hearings and that just won't be allowed to happen. Worst case they will use it as an excuse for bankruptcy. Their incompetency seems to know no bounds.
