How ironic that one of the podcast guests is a former DHL executive. :rolleyes: They, along with Amazon, fervently embrace the whipsaw business model, yet expect their customers to view Amazon and DHL in the same light as Fedex and UPS.

Looks like it's news in the business world.
ATSG hiring street captains, Atlas begging pilots with job fairs. I'd say it's here. Unless of course they would follow suit like all the other airlines who don't have a problem right now and pay appropriate.

1st year captains at Omni currently make more than 11th year 767 captains at Atlas.

You should be more specific. ATSG isn't hiring anybody. Omni is advertising for captains. Although at a 5-month upgrade, ATI is getting really close, too.
