Default Its time to start the APU!

Congratulations to the Atlas pilots who are tired of the IBTs ineptitude and lack of results. It does not matter if Atlas goes in house or ALPA, the fact of the matter is the only way to get things done is WITHOUT the IBT in any way, shape or form!
Every Atlas pilot needs to register @ atlaspilotsunion.org

Cheers,
The Baron

I can think of a lot of stupid moves that we could make right now, but this is by far the most stupid. JFC.

This really smells of a dirty trick by the part of management. Mysterious web site with no names attached, no details at all really. Just a web form that goes...somewhere?

Not to mention its an "independent" union. Probably couldn't use ALPA because then you'd at least have to know who is running the drive. This could really be anyone.

My guess is they'll just sit back and collect a list of names and then slide it across the table at the next negotiation session. Either settle or we'll just keep pushing for this independent union until the Teamsters are completely mired in a decertification wild goose chase just as negotiations enter the home stretch. It's so smart I wish I had thought it up.

The home stretch? You can’t be serious. We’ve only passed mile 12 in the marathon and our nipples are already chafed.

So this is real? I haven't seen or heard anything about this.

Good luck with that. Impatient and gullible pilots possibly in league with mgt are behind this. Some actually believe a decert will net us a nice hourly pay raise and a few work rules as a reward immediately. I’ve heard the talk myself.

What makes anyone think Purchase will keep their word on a quid pro quo if that’s the deal? They haven’t kept their word on anything yet. Not. One. Thing.

What will happen is all 17 TA’s are voided and negotiations start over at day 1. The execs bought themselves 4 to 6 more years of delay...what they want as outlined by their leaked emails.

Don’t sell out your brothers and sisters for empty promises of a few nuggets of gold. After the roasting they just got from the investors, AAWH will be pulling out all the stops now and use whoever will listen to them to advance their agenda. Time is running out for the execs, after the 4th qtr earnings report and we lose more Amazon flying in January as rumored the stock will be obliterated and Wall St will demand a change of leadership.

Leave IBT and lose millions of members money in the assessment fund.

Or stay with IBT 2750 and use the assessment money to provide better services (after a vote).

I know what I'm choosing.

Timing could literally not be worse for something like this.

This is a really bad idea right now. Finish the contract, then we can take stock of what we want to do. I suspect this has more to do with internal power dynamics than anything else.
