Great place...

The owner himself is a pilot with an open door. His worst trait??? Can't tell a joke to save his life... but has a heart of gold.

You won’t find a better chief pilot to work with.

Morale zoomed at meteoritic proportions since the current DO took the helm.

Where else can one work for a flying museum??? Hop a ride on the mighty DC-6 or C-46.

A lot of flying out of Laredo. But with fish haul during the summer.... PANC. You won’t find prettier flying.

Very true.

Its a really different place to work. Family operated Company and that attitude extends to the employees. If you want to live in ANC you can fly the DC-6, DC-9 or the MD-80. In FAI, the DC-6 and DC-9. In LRD you're home based and can fly the MD-80 or the EMB-120 if you don't have enough time to qualify for Part 121 flying.

How does the home basing work here?

Their ads for the EMB-120 say those positions are LRD based. Some of us have aged out of 121 but not many are willing to move to LRD to fly Part 135 on the Bro.

So are the Brasilia positions home based or LRD based?

EMB-120 are home based.

What Union is the pilot group represented by?

I don't believe Everts is unionized.

They tried to organize, but couldn't get the number of cards required. Everts is a family owned and oriented operation. Virtually all of the employees feel and demonstrate a great deal of loyalty to the owner and his family.
