What part of this didn’t you get?
Dude - this is APC. Nobody gets anything. Ill intent is assumed. Unfounded outrage is required.

I think this one started off as being about Atlas.
Crazy...and on an open public message forum...how could that be possible? Especially since nobody from Atlas has ever commented on an ABX thread...weird.

Well let's not speak in absolutes. UALPA got pretty close to destroying United. Bankruptcy court was the only thing that "saved" the airline, and the retirees paid for it, and the rest of the country lost their pensions because of that bankruptcy proceeding.

I once met a retired United pilot who lost almost everything. His wife left and all of that. It was pretty sad.

But on the bright side, we don't have any retirement at Atlas so, we have that going for us...

What happened to the Atlas CBA after the company declared bankruptcy in 2004? Did the pilots vote on a CBA after the bankruptcy or was it a forced arbitration?

There were no concessions through the bankruptcy. But they were both weak contracts anyway.

The subsequent 2011 contract was arbitrated, but only 4 items went to the arbitrator. Everything else having been TA'd between the union and management in the lead-up to the arbitration.

That’s exactly what I did on the way out for a Oct 1st resignation date. Max Open Time to pad the wallet for the transition pay.

AAWW is as bad (and worse) to its Pilots as people are trying to tell you. No trip/line ownership, no line hour pay protection for cancellations ....basically 62 hours guarantee every month, and 20 days away from home.

Thanks for the type rating and Oceanic / International experience line on my resume. I would have stayed for LEADING pay and work rules.
