Cargo feeder recommendations

I was hoping to get some feedback and/or suggestions for decent companies to work for that feed into a major Cargo operator like UPS.

Currently sitting at around 930 hours, building time as a survey pilot. Winter hours are a little slow as the window is only 4 hours, but I plan on hitting that 1200 mark in a few months if not before summer.

Have a few fellow workmates, ones working for ameriflight, and 4 others working for alpine air in Montana.

All suggestions and past work experiences welcome and appreciated.

I like the fact Ameriflight has multi-engine turboprop aircraft and some flow throughs. I believe the pilots also have jumpseating privileges as well. In addition, they may still have hiring programs for lower time pilots that are close to 135 PIC mins?

Check out Air Cargo Carriers. SD360s, always a two pilot crew, good pay, KCM, 401K, CASS jumpseat with everyone except United. Good company, I miss my time flying with those farm boys. Most US runs now operate on a 3 week on, 1 off schedule. The equipment is old but well maintained. If you wanna have some fun go to SJU. Now it has an override in pay and it's a blast being based there.

Not to burst your Xmas bubble ( maybe a little ) but:

- military time
- mil instructor or evaluator time
- couple of thousand hrs PIC turbojet
- degree ( although UPS officially does not require it)

will put you in a pile with another 20,000 applicants that year.
UPS/Fedex or the Majors are really just a crapshoot even if you tick all the boxes.
I know some real heavy hitters that didn’t make it into UPS.
What you’re talking about now really has very little relevance to what you’re trying to achieve.
Join the Guard or see if you can go fly KingAirs in places like Afghanistan.
If not choose whatever gets you in the biggest plane the quickest.
75/76/MD-11 or bigger.
Look at companies that fly those and what their reqs are and how you can meet those the quickest.
