Which FE Union negotiator are you?
Each pilot on the property has already lost out on 10-20k over the course of the last year due to the fact that we were one or two votes shy of decertification last year. Money we will never recoup...I'll take my chances with the new world order. Teamsters should stick to the trucking business.

How does switching to a different, better union, make one a management stooge? You're a SPECIAL kind of stupid I see.

I'm curious how one reaches the conclusion that a lack of progress in contract negotiations has more to do with the union than the two parties involved in the negotiation.

I was opposed to the switch from Teamsters to ALPA over at K4. However, the pilot group voted overwhelmingly to make the move. Since then, ALPA has really impressed me. I’m involved in multiple committees and interact with ALPA National a decent amount and I have to say the tools at our disposal are top notch. I worry about the viability of an in house union at a smaller shop like yours. I just think you’re going to get outspent by Management. I don’t think K4 had the pilot’s to make in house viable let alone K2.
Anyway, I wish the best for our K2 brothers/sisters and hope to see you guys over here with us at ALPA.

When you witness incompetence not only in negotiating a contract, but in being an airline pilot, it doesn't exactly exude confidence in the pilot group. You're not on our property, I am, so I know how our pilots feel.
