I'm not sure if I can say, and I don't want to jinx it, but it's probably okay to say it's not a short trip.

Not Canadian , but what makes a Germany company feel they must lease all lift from N- reg operators ? “ Sheeeeesh ! “ Or did you not read the fine print ? They have every right to purchase non- US lift. I find it strange that people at ATI and ABX and similar act as if they are in charge instead of being the hired help. Arrogance abounds.

I'm just guessing but I would imagine that some of the European labor laws are not as favorable to their operation as those of the US. Regardless of ones personal beliefs about Brexit the labor laws in some industries were a large part of some UK peoples thinking when they voted to leave.

Unless they want that lift to have one leg of every trip back in the origin country, they're gonna have to use a US carrier. Cargojet can't fly CVG-MSP-CVG. It can fly YYZ-CVG-YYZ, or even YYZ-CVG-MEX under our treaty. But it can't fly YYZ-CVG-MSP-LAX-CVG.

Also, I put the smiley face there precisely because I knew somebody would (choose to?) misconstrue the tone.

I would not get overly excited.....as usual this is not inhouse generated new business. Someone (you choose) DHL, Amerijet,....came to ABX to see if we could fill in on a temporary basis as usual. Maybe maintenance or waiting on yet another ATSG aircraft to arrive. Short lived. Like all our business under Soaper. ABX is not very good at drumming up business...try and think of one example of late..(last 10 yrs).

Is that the route the EAT guys were flying in the 330F or an additional flight?
