NH class has 3 people in it Monday. We can longer staff the flying we have, and we certainly won’t staff any future flying- everyone knows we need a CBA, so I don’t see us getting future flying until one is in place.

Only 9 days of negotiations scheduled over the next 3 months.

It’s been fun guys and girls- But the lady is signing.
it should probably the the gender non-conforming person is singing....or signing for all of us deaf non-millennial pilots.

Now she is signing! Is that more SJW, woke millennial bullcrap?

Couple serious questions for you:

3 out of how many? Is that a 767 class?
24 is 74 classes and 12-6 in 76. I think they invite more than that to show up knowing not even half will.

Thanks! You are right.

But I was wondering if it was the 747 or 767 class; and how many were actually invited versus actually showed up.

The rumor mills are flying. I no longer will post what any of them are. Will believe it when I see it. However, the most perplexing of all is trying to understand what the Atlas management is up to. As an outsider to Atlas, none of their actions make any sense. Most companies exist to make a profit and grow. It seams Atlas is a company that doesn't want to continue to exist in its current form, like a butterfly that wants to revert back to a caterpillar.

It is actually not that confusing. Our new CEO HATES PILOTS. He thinks we are the scum of the earth. He wanted to turn Atlas into an aircraft leasing company a decade ago. The BOD's disagreed then. Now the BOD is more easily controlled with some members from outside aviation.

That is why the first big deal announced right after he took control was to expand the aircraft leasing. That is why we are parking aircraft quickly and losing/giving flying to competitors. That is why senior execs at the airline had to be given million dollar retention bonuses to stay for 1-2 yrs after our new CEO took over.

Kalitta is the future of ACMI. Atlas is the past.

hahaha never forget when that said CEO went up to an American Airlines pilot (different uniform and colors not to mention he was wearing a HAT which Atlas does not even have) at a picketing event outside DHL HQ in Miami and asked him how long he’d been working for Atlas 😂

We used to run classes of 20-26 on the 767. The latest vacancy, we need about 50 more on the 76.

Currently losing about 1 pilot per day - I would
imagine this will uptick even more.

The 767 class of 3 was actually empty, and they pulled 3 from the 747 class for next week.

AAWWH is done. Never seen anything like this before in this economy. They are essentially putting the “airline” out of business, despite making billions a few years ago.

With the loss in appeals court yesterday it’s now codified in case law forever that no AAWH pilot will work under a negotiated contract.
Other airline CEO’s must be looking at Atlas licking their chops hoping to adopt our contract language to prevent their pilots from ever voting on a contract too.
Imagine spending a 30 year career at an airline where you got a completely dictated by management contract only every 10 to 12 years. No bargaining power, take what what management offers if anything, or there’s the door. Along the way your execs will hire “experts” to twist operational metrics and get a preemptive injunction against your union to remove any possibility of employee leverage...that’s the reality for AAWH pilots today. Pray this cancer doesn't spread to other carriers.
